Pilot Travel Center - Stratford

I don?t know the other nights of the week but from Sunday going to Monday morning there?s a annoying train passing through at night honking it?s air horn. They were surely active the night I stayed here ???? BESIDES that, no complaints on Pilot itself????????

Don?t buy gas here as a regular driver?. They put a $150 holding charge when you pay at the pump when my tank cost $30 to fill. Stay away from pilots.

Decent place. Has all the essentials of a truck stop.

The location has very little grass and almost no shade for our 4 legged traveler, even in June. The subway employee made this a regretted stop, and put us way behind schedule. It took more than 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and a protein bowl. The orderwas accurate, but she just didn't move quickly, talked too much between handfuls of veggies, and even when we said we didn'tneed a bag (to save time), counted out napkins, asked if that was enough, and bagged the sandwich, again very slowly. Restroomswere clean and available. Pizza hut option was closed. Hot food was available at the deli, but taste was bland.

Pretty good food selection, a little bit on the small side for parking, I did not try the showers here, CAT Scale and Subway @truckingpix
