The Dutch Pancake Cafe - STOWE

I had some of the best service I've ever experienced at this restaurant. The staff was very attentive, and our food arrived quickly. Everyone was friendly and engaging, and they even surprised us with complimentary banana bread. The food was fantastic; I had never tried a Dutch pancake before, but it was absolutely delicious! It was a lovely way to start the morning.

The Dutch Pancake Café is a true gem in the heart of Stowe! It’s an essential part of the Stowe experience. We visited during a group ski trip this winter and arrived at the café on Friday at 10:30 AM. To our delight, we were the only customers there, allowing us to dive straight into our orders! If you want to avoid long waits on busy weekends, I highly recommend going on a Friday. Our waiter kindly seated us at a table by the fireplace and was more than happy to answer our questions about Dutch pancakes and accommodate our special requests. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, from refills to extra food. I ordered a Dutch pancake that substituted eggs for bacon, while my friend opted for “The Nutty,” a standout pancake. You can’t go wrong with either the sweet or savory options, so it’s definitely a good idea to share a variety with friends to sample as many as possible! After a long morning drive to Vermont, everyone left feeling satisfied and happy!
