Stonehouse Pizza Carvery - Stourbridge

Absolutely shocking service!! went here with my husband and 12 year old son. we waited an hour for our food, then when we spoke to the assistant manager she told us they were just doing our food and the order for our carvery had only gone through 25 minutes earlier. so thats 25 minutes to plate up some food?? walked out, called The Glassworks and went there, food was on the table within 20 minutes, roast beef dinner was awesome and service is bang on!!

We went for a quick lunch as a family before having plans elsewhere this Friday just gone. I say quick, it took us two hours just to get this carvery! We had to check off what we wanted on a piece of paper and that was then dished up and brought over by the staff (completely different to when we visited two weeks ago). They got a LOT of tables' orders wrong, and saw them being returned constantly. I went up to complain to one of the waitresses about the wait time after 90 minutes saying we had somewhere to be soon and we would be leaving if we didn't have our food in five minutes. No surprises that our orders were wrong when they arrived. Served to us by the manager with no apologies. Yorkshires and roasts hard. Lukewarm at best. The table next to us served after us had the same experience. Extremely poor service let alone the food. Will NOT be returning. What should have been a pleasant, quick, yummy lunch turned into a shambolic, frustrating and deeply unsatisfying mess.

Just visited this place has really thought about safety for there customers and equally the staff if you miss eating out due to covid I’m pretty sure you will not have worries about tight measures

Staff are so friendly and very helpful, would highly recommend this eating place

Went to The Whitehouse for lunch 24/08/20. Booked in at 12.00. Ordered starters for the four people in my party. For mains we ordered 3 carvery and one pizza. Sat waiting for ages for starters which didn't arrive. Waitress eventually came over and said your pizza is ready if you want to go and collect it and get your carvery. I said we hadn't had our starters to which she didn't even know we had ordered them. She went and got the starters which you guessed it were cold obviously sitting on the side in the kitchen. Sent starters back and just had carvery and pizza. Manager gave us our initial drinks free plus another. The carvery wasnt great, meat was ok but cut wafer thin. The veg was served by the chef onto the plate. Or should I say slopped onto the plate. It didn't look at all like the posters displaying the carvery. The place was dirty, the tv we sat under quite obviously hadn't seen the sight of a duster or polish for some considerable time. I went to the gents toilet, the lock was missing off the cubicle. I shall not be going back.
