The Ferry Inn is probably the best, consistent, dining room in this part of Kent. The food and the ambience were good, but not very good. The service was good, but not excellent. I had the fee that the only server was not in its best form. The food prices have risen considerably since they are elsewhere. We like to go to the ferry and hope better in the future. We were not impressed by a largish dog in the dining area for most of our meals.

Love this place, for many years come with our dog, love to eat outside when rain go in sitting through the fire, really friendly, beautiful atmosphere food is brilliant, we always leave empty plates, all value for money.

We had lunch at Ferry Inn on Saturday. Beautiful dog friendly pub cooked with good honest cuisine with care and precision. Local ingredients mixed with excellent flavors. My devilled kidneys soft and in a beautiful sauce, lamb Rump boiled pink with a delicious jus followed by treacle sponge, light and not too sweet. My wife also enjoyed her three courses. We'll be back.
