Jah Mikes - Stoke-on-Trent

I first spotted Jah Mikes last year and what impressed me the most was that he was busy in the kitchen prepping at around 9.30am. It took a few weeks to get back and order our first meal but it was well worth the wait. Mike seems to have a slightly different business model to other takeaways. I guess he makes everything fresh in the morning each day and when it's gone it's gone! Well, I finally managed to get over to him on a Monday lunchtime and the Jerk Chicken was sensational. More than enough for 2 meals. #what a nice guy and what a credit to Tunstall town centre

Great food, had the Jerk chicken, Mike let me sample the curry goat and WOW ! Will be definitely going back Ended up staying and chatting to Mike for half an hour, what a guy! Makes me want to go back to Jamaica. Highly recommended!

This guy is an amazing cook! Great food at a fair price. Nice to have this takeaway in our area. Been here a few times and never disappointed.

The food is sooo nice, the jerk chicken is my fave such a nice guy who runs it too. Deffo worth the money because it’s unreal, if you haven’t tried it yet get your self down!!

Very hard to find Caribbean food in Stoke, with most only being average. Jah Mikes's is top of the list for this area. His curried Goat is the best I've had. My only criticism is low stock, you have to arrive early if you want Goat, Oxtail or dumplings. I'm guessing this is loss limitation for such a small company. Everyone has to try this guy atleast once.
