Poppys Bbq Shack - Stockdale

Great smokey, tender brisket! And the sausage links were very good too, although I'd liked to see a browner exterior on them. The potato salad is a delicious balance of mustardy sauce and chunks of veg that is classic South Texas-style. Give these folks a try. It's deliciously wholesome food, like we need more of in Stockdale.

I stopped here passing through, the Ribs and Brisket are very good. Juicy and tender. The sausage however, really stood out, it was really impressive. The Beans, Potato salad and Coleslaw are also good. I'm not out this way much but I will definitely be back.
