The Don's Wood-Fired Pizza - Sterling

Pizza was ok. We got the CYO 18 with 4 toppings which were not evenly spread leaving some slices with only 1 or 2 slices of pepperoni. The Caprese salad family size had lettuce leaves that were nearly as large as my hands. Difficult to eat without spreading it all out and cutting it and the mozzarella used was extremely salty, the dressing did help cut the salt when mixed. Delicious hand-made, wood-fired pizza with many types to choose from. Great place to have an enjoyable and affordable meal!

This rating is purely based on the pizza. I commend the effort in blending the styles of New York and Italian pizza. I had high hopes for this pizza, but sadly it fell short. While I have enjoyed these styles separately, they are not properly represented when combined. That said, the customer service was superb. Everyone was very friendly and food service was prompt. Absolutely the best brick oven pizza in the NOVA area. All fresh ingredients, I specifically love their panini sandwiches and salads. Come hungry leave happy ????
