Napa Company - Stamford

We've been visiting Napa for 10 years, and it was bittersweet to be there on their final night of service. The food has always been consistently excellent. The staff is professional and friendly, and the wine list is quite interesting. We'll truly miss what has been the best restaurant in Stamford for decades.

We had a fantastic dining experience! We started with the Brussels sprouts, rosemary fries, and dumplings as appetizers, and then chose the short rib for our main course. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date. We can't wait to return soon!

The ambiance is pleasant, and the food is excellent. There's a fantastic selection of wines. The service is decent—responsive but not particularly warm. I really appreciate their location in downtown Stamford.

I have been to dinner several times in napa and I have always enjoyed going there. eating is always good, the service does not rush you and the atmosphere is good. but I have to complain about the food I got this time. I was there for the first time for lunch and ordered the salat, which is a cobb salad in the round, but I don't remember the names. I ordered it with huh. I don't think it was the salate, so I feel it was the huh that was so incredibly salty. I didn't notice it until I went through my meal, but I couldn't even eat later in the night because I had turned off the whole salt. I know restaurants use much more salt, then I would ever add to a recipe, but to have the salty feeling until I went to bed was a bit much. I'm not in the hurry to go back there. I will probably go back in the restaurant week if I think they really put their best foot forward. but I will definitely watch how salty everything I order.

Been here several times and the food is consistently good. Very inventive menu, healthy yet hearty. Service is pretty good but comfort of dining chairs not so much. That won't stop me form going back though.
