We rarely go out more, but our 6yr wedding day was in May and we decided we wanted to visit our old stomping ground and we were very happy about our choice! The owner himself greeted us and spoke to us for a little while, in conversation with him it came up that we were not there in quite a long time and that we were there for our anniversary, so he gave us a personal tour through his rebuilt business and was super friendly. When we finished chatting, he put a song on the jukebox singing Happy Anniversary so that we feel that he really enjoys and appreciates customers. Bartender was also super friendly and personal, we had to go for several hours and when we came back, she had our drinks ready for us at the bar before we even made it from the door to her! We will definitely return, and much more often, just because of the owner and his employees, if not for the reorganization he has done in the institution!
Love Ric's! A roadhouse vibe with a friendly owner, waiter and bartender. Great live bands: Country, Rock, Blues, different varieties - sometimes Oldies. Many music, lots of dance, it's a fun place to go. Food is good, typical pub type food, in addition to the usual Burger wings, they make a really great Mac and cheese dinner, grilled chicken salad and steaks. Taco Tuesday great value for money delicious meaty burritos and fajita packs, and more. DJ Friday night karaoke fun times. A beautiful deck overlooking a babbling brook ideal for cocktails outside on a sunny afternoon.
Really cool Roadhouse feel at this place. Scott behind the bar was very friendly treated us well. Prices are more than reasonable and shares were larger than average. The wings I ordered were HUGE! I'll be back next time I'm in the area.
Now called Ric's Place, full restaurant license. Ric really changed how it grew. It is very secret, great beers on tap and special drinks, all affordable. Good pub menu and daily specialties. Live bands and karaoke, plus a large deck overlooking a brook and ever changing trees. And the owner, Scott, is there most of the time and makes everyone welcome. Ladies feel comfortable to stop alone or meet friends, Scott keeps the place friendly and fun for everyone.
The food is excellent. Awesome steaks!! Service was good but we could not hear our server or each other it was so loud i wanted ear plugs. Too many people in to small a space. We will try it again because the food was that good but not on a Saturday night.
