Subway - St. Petersburg

I love this downtown st. Pete dining. the personal was friendly and is a block away from the local social insurance. stop a bit before their next bus or after they visit the Social Insurance Office.

Ordered online and they had my sub ready when I left 15 minutes later. sub was made to order and fresh. the restaurant was clean. will be ordered again.

I visited this subway three times, and each time I found they were out of beef. I'm not sure if they just don't restock regularly or if they run out daily, but it's an issue that needs to be addressed. There are many construction workers who come here, and we often have dirty hands. Just two days ago, a customer came in and had a verbal disagreement with one of the staff. Instead of handling the situation calmly, the employee engaged with the customer, which only escalated things.

Subway is a cheap dining option downtown. There are plenty of free parking in front. I go there often because you can get a sandwich for less than $5. It is open for breakfast at 7am. The restaurant is always clean and they play videos while you dine. It's nothing special but if you only have $5 and want a quick lunch Subway is your place.

I'm sure as some of the other reviews say, the staff might be really nice in the daytime. But there is a woman working in the evenings who never misses the chance to be rude. She turns customers away. I've been so offended by her mannerisms that I haven't patronized any Subway in over a year. Publix tastes better anyway.
