Basil Pasta - St. Andrew's Parish

If you go here eat inside. I had a house less man demand money from me. I bought him a meal instead. Still wishing I had gotten my order that I asked for. For some reason the cook today decided my vegetable?s for me and my other request was ignored. Thisis usually my absolute favourite place to go for pasta. Today was an off day all around. Friday August 19 I was invited to havea meal. I was so grateful for the hospitality. My order came as I wanted it. I was treated really well. I?m grateful for a safespace to come eat and enjoy ????

Meh? was ok. Would not order again. Person at the till was very nice and laid back but it was either them or the kitchen who gave me gnocchi instead of shells : Garlic bread was pretty sad for what I paid and pasta was just ok, extremely sauce andpretty salty even by my standard. I really wanted to like this place but it just filled the gap, nothing more. :

My pasta was drowning in sauce. Literally, it was like slurping a bowl of noodle soup. Taste was fine nonetheless. But really? Minestrone was very oily. Wouldn't order again.

Wanted something simple and quick not to far from my hotel.. Saw that Basil Pasta Bar in Downtown Edmonton got good review.. I was not disapointed.. Service was amazing, food was great.. Food had flavor and was well cook (Maple Bacon Conchiglie).. Kishathe waitress explain well how the restaurant work and give good advice.. Always with a big smile.. I think people forgetsometime to give a shout out to the waiter.. I will go back for sure went I will be back in Edmonton.. Good food and goodprice.. ???? Visit July 27 2022 around 17h30
