The bourbon selection was excellent and the food was superb. My husband had the elk/cabbage with spaetzle and I had the Australian sea bass and lobster risotto. We’ve been to Gerhards several times and it only gets better. Compliments to the chef and the kitchen team and many thanks to a Caroline!
Cannot recommend this place enough ! Visited this place with my husband and mother in law. We just moved down the street and can't wait to come back! They have the biggest beer and wine selection I have ever seen. Great service and lovely staff.
We tried this place for the first time with our Friends and we are sold. Could not believe we waited to try this place for so long despite living so close to it. My husband is not even a big fan of Austrian/ German food and he even liked all of it. Dessert was the tummiest ever! We will be back. ?
The space was unique. It had a lot of cozy wood and quirky details. It felt a bit dark, but it definitely gave off warm tavern vibes. The waitress was wonderful. Very helpful and attentive without hovering or rushing us. The food was really good. We got the duck and the quail. Both were good but highly recommend the quail. The mushroom risotto it came with was absolute perfection. To finish off the meal i had a vodka espresso martini that was different from any espresso martini I've ever had. It was light, sweet and the perfect end to a wonderful meal. We will go again.
Came here with a party, can say it 's the first place I 've ever been with a limited menu for party 's over 10. Parsley potato 's. The steak was decent, the potatoes were under seasoned and misleading, name was fried potatoes ? Should be French fries right? Nope underseasoned mashed potatoes with onions straws that were underfried ok top. Can 't say much but looking at the parley potatoes someone else got I guess that 's ok. I mean skinned and boiled potatoes with parley sprinkled on top? Can 't say anything about the normal menu but if it 's a party over 10, the menu is limited to 3 selections of just underwearwealming fair for the prices. The waitresses, one was nice, one seemed to be a little upset the whole time and would get flabbergasted when anyone asked about something off the normal menu. I 'm sure there was a reason but the drinks at the bar were more expensive than the drinks at the table? The same drink mind you. The place also had hotel meeting room vibes. Someone else in our party compared it to a mortuary.
