Contribuiți la feedbackHaving been built in 1993 it looked like a place in Germany. The beer menu was extensive and the wine menu was adequate. We had the best escargot EVER followed by she crab soup that was better than our favorite in FL. Hubby had rainbow trout Oscar with grilled asparagus. I had shrimp and cheddar cheese grit cake in a wonderful cream sauce. Then my husband surprised me with cream brûlée to die for. Emma was so attentive and she took great care of us. We will ask for her when we return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish, Sauce, House Salad
Absolutely amazing! I know it’s sometimes rough waiting for a table, but when there is a long wait there is a reason! We had a really great time here. The woman at the front, took her time to show me the restaurant when I asked her questions. This is our first time here, so I was really interested in looking around the whole place. Our waitress was Makayla, and she was super attentive! She answered any questions that we had on the menu, and also made suggestions for new things we haven’t tried. The fried coconut shrimp was absolutely the best fried shrimp! I did not even need the sauce. The spinach dip, large portion was huge for the price. The salad that we had, is much different than I’ve ever had but it was really good. The potato salad was surprisingly great. I got the farmers platter, and my husband got the ribeye. Everything was flavored perfectly! We will definitely be back. Probably our favorite restaurant Spartanburg now. We ate here on a Tuesday so it was not too busy, but not empty either. Other than the long wait for our main dishes, the service was friendly and the decor was nice. We ordered one pizza and that came out way before anyone else's main, so everyone else just had to watch him eat which was awkward. However, the pretzel was extremely salty, one of the worst beer cheeses I've ever had, the duck was dry, the crab cakes had zero seasoning and the pork tenderloin was tasteless with an overpoweringly sweet mushroom sauce and again, under seasoned mashed potatoes and sour tasting fried potatoes. The calamari appetizer was fantastic, but everything else was a disappointment, and the prices are ridiculously high for the low quality food we received. Hate to say it, but I'd never eat here again. This restaurant used to be top notch quality for both authenticity and quality of meats. Last eveneng 3 of our group opted for the hunter’s medallion, ended up with the pork being low quality,, with gristle/fat. Not acceptable at the price. Others in our group with different choices were fine with thier food. Just disapointig that one of their staples in now sub-par. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
It is more than 12 years ago, since I last visited this restaurant, and it was still not disappointed. my man and I wanted to celebrate our jubilee. we did not make any reservations, but could get a table on the terrace (it was a Friday night, so busy.) eating was absolutely amazing! the chicken and the ducks were perfectly cooked. the cream robe was so smooth; it melted in my mouth. the waitress was very helpful and friendly. there is a great, covered vibe here. the only part was that the water had a funny dirt like taste. I suppose it was water. filtering the water would go a long way to help with the taste.
