Great food, really nice host. Every other Mexican place in Spanish Springs had a 45 minute wait. We walked in and were seated immediately.

This place is advertised serving American comfort food and Mexican food; however, once we got there we found out that they serve only Mexican food. The sign outside says Water Springs, but the menus inside say Del Real. We ordered chicken strips for our children, and they came out Raw on the inside. They did fix the mistake. My wife ordered the carne asada cooked medium, and it was charred and mediocre tasting. I had the chicken mole. It was only okay. The star of the show was the salsa they brought with the chips. It was hot without being too hot and very flavorful. Also, I had a beer that came in a large margarita glass. Points for a large beer, but it was the wrong glass for Belgian wheat beer. The men's restroom had no soap. Service was very good.

Stopped in about 10:15 on a Saturday. We were a little confused, though. There is also a sign out front that says Del Real Mexican food and bar and the menus also say Del Real Mexican American food and bar We were immediately seated and the place is very clean and nicely decorated. We asked about the different names for the business. We were told the original name was Water Springs but they were going to change the name to Del Real because that's the last name of the owner. Now they are changing ownership so the name may change again. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito smothered with rice and beans. I ordered the chili verde. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and looked very good. The food also tasted very good. The service was very good and they were very attentive. Over all a good experience they just need to figure out their identity.

Ok so it is a Mexican restaurant and that being said they have a full American breakfast menu,eggs pancakes,omelets waffles etc a full menu.Good food food service place was really dead at 9am on a friday felt bad for them, place opens at 8 now not 7 as stated in other reviews. They do have about 6 mexican breakfast choices and a full lunch and dinner mexican menu looked good and they have happy hour check the place out.

This is really a good place to eat the service is awesome also. The name is a little deceiving but the food is fantastic I also among others suggest the top shelf margarita.
