Spanky's Stone Hearth

Tried the Trust me option on the menu and was not disappointed, food was amazing and service was spectacular.

We have always loved Spanky's. We have gone there for years. We even overlooked the times that did not work out well. We always come each year for my birthday. The server the last few years could care less that it was my birthday our friends that join us want to talk awhile. The server wants to push us out fast. So many other places actually care about your special night a lot give a complimentary desert or drink. Last night and two years ago the server was so rude. Never smiled demeanor was almost hostile. Our walleye was on the cool side and overcooked. Just not the same place we used to love to go to. We sold our lake cabin last summer not worth the hour and half drive anymore. Your persons when you come in are very nice. Please train your servers to care about the customes. They probably would give a better tip if you do. We will not be back. We have tried too many times to give a second chance. So sad to give up on such a beautiful place.

Everything was amazing. Eating the Alaskan king crab is probably what the Vikings winning the Super Bowl might feel like. Euphoric. 7 of us all had unique dishes and loved every bit of it. The kind of place you bring your loved ones to for a special occasion. Get a reservation. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

The service here is as excellent as the food. The ambience is just so-so if you're looking for intimate settings. If you're looking for a little more item and lively then this is your place!
