Prices reasonable as well. The owner, Ray, also came to chat to us great conversation about the Appalachian Trail and a guide of the area. We loved it so much that we went again before we left Acadia National Park.
Great little pizza and ice cream spot off the main drag. Used to be located in the square, but I find their new spot bigger and more convenient. They have lots of other options besides pizza, but the pizza has been a win each time we’ve been in over the course of several years. Gluten free crust is a bonus! They just closed for the season, but we’ll be back in next year when we’re in Southwest.
We had a group of 7 and just stopped by to get some pieces of blueberry pie. This was the best blueberry pie we had all ever had. It was amazing a perfect crust and a perfect filling I kid you not when I say someone was lacking their plate clean! The service was over the top nice and helpful as well. This is a must stop location!
Staff was kind. We only ate ice cream, and it was okay. It was very expensive for Giffords. The serving sizes were on the small side and the cost was a lot for the little we got. I can't speak for the Cafe, but there were better ice cream places in Acadia.
Even in the new location the food .and ice cream always delights. But hurry, Ralph may be ready to retire after this year (hope not!
