Hula Hoops Restaurant Tiki Bar

I've been to Hula Hoops several times and they do not disappoint! The food is yummy, the service is great, and the restaurant is cozy with fun tiki decor. I went for happy hour and ordered the following: SPAM fries (Panko Battered) served with three different sauces; Sriracha Mayo, Garlic Aioli and Ketchup. Brussel Sprouts with Chopped Bacon, Cranberries, and Ricotta Cheese. Lumpia Shanghai pork and veggies with sweet chili sauce Dinner Menu: Braised short ribs with Kimchi fried rice Bibingka Cornbread to go! (Not pictured) Drinks: Passionfruit soda (non alcoholic) Ube Piña Colada To end our night, our server Derrick impressed us with his card magic trick! I was a first timer with two others that had been before. I should have known what the service would be like when we were the only people in line waiting to be seated and stood there for nearly 10 minutes before someone came over to ask us how many in the party and what my name was. After spelling my name wrong several times (even after I corrected her the host took my phone number. I said is there a waitlist? She said no . (Confusion? But I received a text just then, letting me know I was on the waitlist We were given the menus and told the specialities. We ordered drinks and entrees at the same time, but my order, the poke bowl came first, and was placed in the center of the table as if we were to share. 9 minutes later, the other 2 entrees arrived. Two of the cocktails arrived 4 minutes after the entrees were served and mine, 7 minutes after. The meals were fresh and good, though my mango was unripe and hard. The drinks were yummy and filling, and because they arrived when they did, we didn 't need dessert because they filled us up. The food and drinks earn the stars, (did I mention they had live music? Awesome the service dragged the rating down

Holy smokes!!! The customer service was amazing. Derrick was sickkkk he had a magic show for us after dinner and we were mind blown or just super drunk. Good times with friends and Hula Hoops. Thanks for the entertainment.

Absolutely loved this spot. Amazing food, drinks and service, and loved the music and late night magic tricks.
