Huli Huli - South Gate

This review is based on my Uber Eats order, so my rating focuses solely on the quality and taste of the food, rather than on customer service or the restaurant's atmosphere. I ordered through Uber Eats, and I received just what I expected—the food was delicious. It was prepared quickly after I placed my order, and I was pleased with the freshness and flavor. I had Chow Mein and Orange Chicken, while my sister ordered short ribs with salad and rice. Everything was fantastic, and I would definitely order from here again. The portion sizes were also generous.

The food is incredible for the price—definitely would give it 5 stars. However, the cashier/owner is quite uninviting and seems unwilling to help with orders. On a positive note, the milk teas here are also really excellent.

The musubi was delicious and cooked to perfection. I also had the pineapple chicken it was freshly made, crispy and sweet. The teas and iced coffee were super fresh as well. It was clean and the owner was nice.

The chicken was tender, and I enjoyed the sushi rice! The fried fish had an interesting flavor. I also tried the boba tea, which tasted great, but I'd pass on getting drinks from here again. The boba was frozen and hard, likely due to being icy. So, while the food was enjoyable, the drinks could use some improvement.

Best spam masubi around town! Portions are big and food is always fresh and sooo good!
