Four Oaks And Lounge - South Boston

I am a visitor to South Boston Virginia from Memphis Tennessee. I was not impressed with the food or the service. One of the members of our party was served under cooked catfish. I admit my ribeye was cooked to order, but overly fatty and under seasoned. I did try my wife's salmon and it was well prepared if uninspired... The salad and soup bar was a positive experience. Everything from that station was fresh, well laid out and tasty. The waitress did not write anything down for a party of 8 and came back later to confirm an order she forgot. The outside signage for the restaurant is not currently present. Luckily Google is awesome and told me where to go so I did find the restaurant no thank to ownership. Once again I expected much better from what is considered one of the best restaurants in South Boston Virginia.
