First Oak - SOLVANG

One our best meals ever. I had the five-course tasting menu; my wife had three-course. All dishes were great, bur the vegetable (cauliflower; cabbage) dishes were outstanding-delicious with multiple ingredients and flavors Attentive and knowledgeable staff.

Lovely, beautifully presented food, attentive but unobtrusive service in a classically styled and comfortable dining room. When I made the reservation I was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. It was our 33rd anniversary and every staff member we encountered acknowledged the occasion, so clearly that information was passed along.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, and I think everyone who served us in any way congratulated us and made the evening feel so special! We chose the 5-course food and wine pairing and would definitely do it again! It was a feast for the eyes and our palate. I really enjoyed the flavors, sauces, and garnishes that enhanced each course that was exquisitely prepared. Hats off to the kitchen staff and chef!

We ordered the three course option with wine pairing and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect. Our server was extremely attentive and the supporting staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location if you are anywhere near the Santa Ynez Valley.

Really nice food and service! We had 3 courses wine pairings and shared asparagus, cauliflower, risotto, halibut and for dessert both the mousse and mango, everything was excellent! Good value as well.
