The finger foods were delicious, I highly recommend the midnight flight to Cuba mojito. Come on by if you like dancing and finger foods. The vibe is on point here!
Celebrated New Year's Eve at Cuba Libre, got seated outside with the view of the river which is a plus. Considering how busy they are they were able to accommodate us. Ceviche is good with a hint of truffle (I wish they would add more chips though), Gambas is also good with some crunchy garlic. Cocktails are on the pricey side and definitely needs more flavor. Overall a nice place to hang out.
We went in there for ladies night and it seemed like they tried their hardest to drive all the ladies away, didn't even let us know we were only allowed to have one cup and came to our table to take our cups away. Then took our extra table away even though we were still missing two people. We kept asking for water and coke but they kept giving us more vodka. Lame ass bar that doesn't know how to handle problems and its patrons, don't have a ladies night if you're gonna be lame and anal about everything. Bar was dead before we came in but staff kept eyeing us and pushing us around.
The waitress here is the rudest person I have ever seen working in a bar. Neglecting people and speaking in a tone like you owe her something. I usually try to take it easy and to not to be hard on people who work at places like this because I understand how energy taking it can be but here I cannot let it go. Although the food and beer was good but never come here again.
I loved this place... I'm straight out of Puerto Rico...I was there last year in June....I had a marvelous time! The customer service was on par....the band that was playing that evening was great...the singer actually pointed me out as a Boricua as he was singing salsa. Kinda kool! I still wonder today if I was the first Boricua that visited this awesome establishment...
