Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Sierra Vista

As someone who travels across the US for work, I always look for BBQ spots to try wherever I go. This place truly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich special, known as the Bobcat Special. For under $10, you get a drink, a side, and a wonderfully tender pulled pork sandwich on a toasted bun. Great job!

We ordered a pound of brisket dinner, and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

I was quite disappointed with my experience. We had a major contract with this restaurant to cater an official Army event, but they really failed to deliver. We were supposed to have our food delivered, but instead, we had to go pick it up ourselves. They promised us a variety of meats, but only provided pork, and it was a day old. Additionally, they were supposed to offer two vegetarian meals, but they didn't have any and the staff even claimed they lacked the necessary ingredients. At $20 per person for lunch, I expected much better. I will not be using their services again!

The staff today on Monday has no clue about what friendly means. The girl with tattoos all over her neck has the personality of a mop! Apparently I don?t speak English because there was a huge language barrier between us. I finally had to ask the younger man working for help to place my order. We have been to this location before and had a similar experience. They have a new menu board up with pictures of items. I simply pointed to the westerner sandwich on the board and said that?s what I?d like please. The neck tattoo girl had the look of a hog looking at a wrist watch on her face! Clueless as to what I wanted. I even asked her if she was having a bad day still no clue. I ended up just ordering something else to make it easy. Don?t think I?ll come back to this location again. If the manager is reading this maybe have a class on customer service for your staff before you lose more customers. If you decide to go to this location good luck with the staff

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Another typical garbage business in a garbage town. They NEVER have ribs. They run out of other menu items on a regular basis, which means they have chosen not to adjust their ordering to accommodate the demand in their market. They don't care about the customer at all. Half the time they do have them in, they still manage to overcook their ribs.
