Great pastries and drinks! WiFi is a bit difficult for working, but it hasn't stopped my coming back.

Very cool Taiwanese Cafe in south loop. Tasty authentic treats and coffees. Can be busy.

I’ll say this. This place has two big selling points. The first are the pastries. They’re absolutely great tasty and original. And you can actually get some small pastries if you want, which is reasonable for folks trying to be halfway healthy, and that’s quite rare. The second big selling point *was* was the late closing time. In the winter, all the coffee shops in Chicago close at 4pm, but this place used to close at 8pm. Excellent spot for some Japanese inspired pastries and treats. Great to see such a variety of savory and sweet, and the interior is cozy and charming, especially in the early afternoon with a bit of sun. Hojicha iced latte is the way to go if you want to try something a little different.
