The Maltings Cafe - Shropshire

We really enjoyed our lunch visit at the Maltings Cafe after our scenic walk around Clun whilst on short break in the area. The setting and food were equally wonderful. My partner and I ordered soup and a sandwich which was both hearty and delicious as well as being great value. This is our 3rd visit in the last 6 months and each time our experience has been outstanding!

Staying in Clun, “The Maltings Cafe” offered the best breakfast by far. The food and service were so good, we came back, after our walk, for tea and cake. We loved Sarah’s knitted tea cosy. Service was efficient and friendly. Definitely recommend a visit.

We all enjoy the food coffee, mum having the soup and my wife I having the lamb casserole, the food service first class. Hope to return to this lovely cafe in Clun.

Fabulous home cooked food, great portions, lovely friendly waitress, only small but adds to experience. We had huge jacket potato, an open toasted sandwich both with lovely fresh salad, husband had chocolate brownie which he said was lovely and squidgy

Lovely cup of tea, varied interesting menu, 6 bean Smokey chilli hot pot yummy, jacket potatoes , open sandwiches, soup of the day and even a Specials Board. Such a quaint little cafe.
