I?ve read a ton of reviews about this restaurant on the waiting time, however we were seated immediately- and the wait begun!!! Our waitress was ?in the bathroom?. We flagged down the manager to order some drinks. Got them eventually. TONS of complimentary condiments on the table!!!There were no critters on the floor. Boudin balls were great!
My boyfriend and I decided to go here after leaving the casino. The line was long and they had a wonderful bakery display. We both decided to get the Cajun pasta which was suppose to come with chicken and sausage. The first time it was brought out no meat just noodles seasoning and onions, told them waitress she took it back and when she brought it back they had cut up some cold sausage and put it on top. This was suppose to be a Cajun dish I sent it t back and told themdon?t even waste there time making another one smh
Without a doubt, the worst service ever in a Casino/Resort restaurant. There were 9 tables seated totalled counting us with 6 servers, cashier, hostess, and manager. Got seated quick with menus. 20 mins before someone came to take our order. And she seemed put off she had to leave the conversation with he servers and manager about their weekend. Ordered starters and entrees. Entrees came out efoee starters. Then 2 starters came after we were finished waiting on our bill.Terrible customer service for a Casino with the Bally's name.
We made a special trip here to eat because we loved the Sportsman Cafe when this was the El Dorado. We were sat immediately by our waitress but then had to wait 10-12 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered wings for an appetizer but it came out with our meal. 2 of the 3 orders were wrong. Not too big of a deal. The food was good. Waitress was too worried about fixing all the problems with the table behind us to check on us or to refill our drinks. A manager walked by our table2 times with our empty drink glasses at the edge of the table and never offered refills. Asked for a refill at the end of our meal, after we finished eating and she acted put out that we needed something. We then went to pay and left lessthan a 10% tip due to poor service and then the manager and waitress stood there whispering about us instead of seeing what the problem was with our meal. We are restaurant owners. My husband is a chef and we have both been in the foodservice industry our whole lives. We never tip less than 10% and usually never less than 15% in this economy with limited workers. This was a horrible experience with no concern from staff about their patrons. I do not recommend thisrestaurant anymore.
