Southern Maid Donuts - Shreveport

I was anxiously preparing to taste their donuts, only to find out the have a hand written notice of change of hours. That was very disappointing and I wasn’t the only one that didn’t know.

The best donuts I've tasted in a long while. Hot and fresh.

Great fast paced service with the old mom and pops feel. The food is great and affordable.

What has happened to this this place? It used to be good. Worst donuts ever. Greasy and tough donuts. Filled donuts were awful. Threw away $8.00 worth of mixed donuts and went to McDonald's for breakfast.

My favorite donut shop! The hours are convenient the donuts do not disappoint. These donuts are hot, fresh delicious! Makes me wish we would have one in North Bossier. Today I had cake donuts for the first time, it was recommended by the nice lady at the register. The cake donuts did not disappoint either. Recommend!
