Xiāng Shàn うさ Wèi - Shimoda-shi

The beautiful lunch plate at Usami Shokudo. The preparation and presentation are all meticulous and impressive. The butter and pepper seasoning on the corn rice was exquisite. Delicious! The seasoning enhances the flavors of the ingredients. Those who are used to eating food with lots of MSG or amino acids may not appreciate the taste. Those with a big appetite may want to add items like fried chicken as a side dish. The portion size is elegant and satisfying at 80% full. I would love to eat here again.

This is a dining establishment in a tourist destination. I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality because tourist spots usually attract customers regardless, but I was pleasantly surprised by a plate filled with various vegetables. There were no meat dishes, but the visually appealing presentation and unique flavors of each vegetable made the meal enjoyable. The strawberries accompanying the dessert cake seemed to have been infused with something like koji or another ingredient - the dishes seemed to have a lot of attention to detail. I forgot to take a photo of the interior, but it was stylish and different from the exterior. Also, although it wasn't on the menu, I heard that you could order a special dish.

"The ‘Tachi-ju’ dish with sweet sauce using swordfish is delicious. You can also change the miso soup to the local specialty dish ‘Dango-jiru’. It is located right next to Usuki Stone Buddhas."

観光センター内のレストランにはハズレが多いですが、ココは大分県民が食べても美味しい郷土料理があります。 定食の吸物を＋200円でだんご汁に出来ます。個人的にはとり天が美味しかった。
