Shāo Ròu とらや - Shimabara

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. There are two parking lots behind the store, each with a sign so it is easy to find. The entrance to the store has a machine for disinfection and temperature check, which is reassuring during the pandemic. Due to reduced seating capacity, we had to wait a bit, but we were seated smoothly. The lunch set was ramen for ¥1,200 (tax included) which included either kalbi or hormone/chicken yakiniku set. The portion size for this price was very satisfying, with the beef bone ramen and hormone set pictured, and a complimentary small rice. The lunch may be on the pricier side starting at 1,200 yen, but the satisfaction level is exceptional.

I went for the first time, I knew the restaurant had been there for a long time, but this time we used it to celebrate my son and his wife's birthday. The interior of the restaurant has a Japanese style atmosphere where we could enjoy a calm meal. The meat was delicious and the menu was varied. The prices were reasonable and we will definitely use it again.

I have been to this restaurant for lunch several times. The last order for lunch is at 3pm. Today, the male and female staff members who greeted us, took our order, and helped us pay were all very pleasant and made our dining experience enjoyable.
