Contribuiți la feedbackThe food was excellent, although I didn't like the layout of the table, because you couldn't really socialize with anyone other than the cook. This review deserves a little more attention I expected because I suspect that I am the only English native. So I should probably be a bit more effort, as the place deserves much more than my short and somewhat radiant review. We called a lot last minute when we were in Sendai for just a few days. We had a pretty terrible steak from a popular chain steak restaurant that had no season and seemed to be cooked as grilled. We wanted a real Sendai cow and this seemed the best advertised place we could fix. We were very simple, although we showed up pretty early. I'm pretty sure this place is very busy on weekends and late evenings. Essentially, this would qualify as a tasting menu in every English fine dining experience. Many small courses, beautifully presented all assembled before you while you eat. The theatre is excellent in the kitchen and taste. The setup is great for couples, you will be able to sit next to each other and chat while your food is prepared. For us we were a group of three that made it quite uncomfortable to have a conversation. We had two chefs during the meal, of which I think the owner, if I remember correctly, would both talk to us. All were excellent English speakers, so you'll be quite welcome. The beef was really excellent, cooked for perfection and much better than other highly recommended chain restaurants (no surprise there). It was definitely one of the unforgettable stations on the trip. The only real negative found it. Even with Google Maps we passed, it confused a few times and finally someone stepped out to welcome us. It is the red facade building with the red step.
Let me put the scene: it's 2017 and two absolutely hungry and pathetic tired Americans are driving the streets of Sendai because we keep telling us to experience only HAVE, authentic Wagyu beef. We approach Steak Kojiro as a group of businessmen say their farewell to the staff. The time we see they are very close to the closing time and ask nervous when it is too late. We are greeted with the eager crew, who forces us with undeniable professionalism and smiles on their faces. We are hard-weared, clearer after they take our jackets and hang in a cute wardrobe. You serve us drinks at the counter and give us our menu while you set up our place and put napkins on our rounds. On a low-priced beef course we have ordered and from there our experience has blown us out of the water. Our first dishes were a beautiful consume and fresh salad, which I can honestly say, were above what someone would expect from such unfair objects. The cook came out and prepared us to cook steak. He asked how we wanted to cook it and we said, but you think it should be. He did fast work and watched him in the silence of the otherwise empty restaurant was one of the best experiences I had in Japan. He thanked us after placing and left. I want to go into detail about the different accents we had the opportunity to enjoy the steak with, but once I had the taste on my tongue all the specificity I would have gone out of the window. I was euphoric. Until this moment I didn't know that food could cause such a change, it was like the flip when a switch. We never wanted to end it, but it was inevitable. Our steak, not our meal, because to our excitement we were served a beautiful raspberry mousse wrapped in a Sakura leaf, paired with a Sakura rose tea. Both tasty and both, just like any other record on this trip, have been stuck with me for years. I don't think it's common to tap, and I think in some cases it can be insulting, but how could we not show our appreciation? We don't have enough understanding for Japanese to explain how we felt. From good luck and a curse Google search we found this place. We went for authentic steak. We were served what we were looking for, but got so much more. The staff saw us end well, still with smiles. I can't believe how happy we should eat there.

仙台牛のコースと海鮮(海老、帆立)を頂きました。 まず、店内は高級感があり尚且つ清潔感があります。子連れでしたが簡易ベッドを椅子で作ってくださりお陰で、子供はぐっすり寝ることができました。 また、お昼過ぎてからの利用でしたので 私達が最後の客だったので、赤ちゃん泣いても気になさらずにと優しいお言葉を頂きました。 前菜からデザートまで全てが美味しかったです ゚ 仙台牛は、レアで頂きましたがとても柔らかく ジューシーでほっぺたが落ちそうでした。 接客 清潔感 お味 また行きたいお店となりました。 この度は、ありがとうございました。 またお邪魔致します・ :.。
