White Horse Tavern - Semantan

Chicken sandwich was pretty good. But clam chowder soup was not up to expectations. Even though it's RI style soup, the server didn't set the expectations. Plus it didn't taste good. The drink ordered arrived almost when I finished lunch and probably server forgot to place an order but said bartender is busy even though the place was practically empty. <br/ <br/ It's an oldest tavern in the country but doesn't really justify the prices for the quality of food and service.

Ended up here on New Year's Eve afternoon and we were the only customers there; slow day, perhaps.<br/ <br/ Ordered a ginger ale and spicy chicken pizza (half pizza without chicken). The pizza was simply marvellous! The service, considering we were the only ones there, was quick and the staff gave useful suggestions as well.

Ordered the baby back ribs whole slab and it worth every penny. Juicy ribs, perfect crusts and delicious sides. Not a fan of the sausage. Good entertainments pool table and darts).

It's a great place. A good mix of westerners and locals. Food is great and reasonably priced! It has a good range of drinks too! Staff are friendly. I would recommend small medium office outings, birthday parties and family lunches White Horse Tavern, Amp Walk!
