I am a meat eater, but this is a place I have actually ordered the vegetarian platter. Sizes are a little bigger than expected. Each dish would comfortably feed 2. The larger plates can even stretch to 4. Service is a bit spotty though, could use some polishing.
It a delicious place. The served food is great and vast. All the personnel is very friendly and helpful. Hope to return in the future.
This was my first time trying the Ethiopian cuisine and I absolutely loved it. This restaurant is basically a no frills place and quite functional, which serves food and drinks on point and promptly. They have couple of vegetarian options if not many. One meal can be easily shared between 2-3 people with min to average appetite. The music is authentic to the setting. And the staff is friendly and welcome you with a warm smile.
Delicious and plentiful food. For 4 people we got the large veggie combo and a three dish combo and now have a full take out box for the next few days. I always love the taste and texture of gored gored, the lentil dishes are so good and never mushy, and the green lamb was probably the table favorite. I've also come here for lunch with my work and they are never crowded for lunch during the week so it's a good place for groups.
The food here is excellent and very reasonably priced! The veggie combo costs just over $20, and I'm sure it could easily feed three people. I shared it with someone once, and we were completely stuffed—couldn't even finish the last bit! The portions are generous and definitely worth the price. The injera was delicious, and everything else was great too. My only complaint is that I wish it were a bit less greasy, but it's still incredibly tasty.
