I recently entered the restaurant and inquired about vegan options, but the woman informed me that they do not have any available.

Upon entering Baba's and Amigos, I was immediately hit with a strong fried meat odor. As a vegan, I can sometimes tolerate meat smells, but this was particularly off-putting. I only tried the veggie burrito during my visit, so there may be other vegan options that I am unaware of. I made sure to inquire about vegan options with two different workers. The first worker hesitated before informing me that I could get a burrito with cheese, but unfortunately, they did not have any non-dairy cheese. The second worker made sure to mark my order as being vegan, but the burrito I received had black beans, iceberg lettuce, and guacamole, and it was the worst vegan burrito I have ever had. If given the choice between Chipotle or this supposed gourmet Mexican cafe in the future, I would choose Chipotle every time. Unless the employees I spoke to were unaware of other vegan options, I would suggest that this cafe be removed from Happy Cow. There is no reason for a vegan-unfriendly establishment to be listed on the website when there are plenty of other burrito places that can cater to vegan customers.

I work in Seattle and typically go to Chipotle for my vegan burrito fix. However, after reading about this place on HappyCow, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! For about $2 less than what I spend at Chipotle, I got a bigger and more flavorful burrito. I tried the vegan breakfast burrito, which is not even on the menu yet. It was delicious, but it does have a pretty spicy kick so be prepared for that. I will definitely be returning to this place.

The vegan breakfast burrito was not on the menu, they need to ask for it at the counter. good, but hungry! there is a series of vegetarian options on the menu.

This burrito is big, hot and delicious. I typically let it cool down for 30 min before devouring. The whole cooked garlic cloves and jalapeños make the potatoes perfect.
