Used to get takeout often when I lived in Calgary a few years back. After having moved away, I miss this place. Always absolutely stellar food.

Very very bad dried old food tasted old and expired very bad never return!

Placed two orders so far with this Restaurant and both times received vegetable pakoras in place of the chicken samosas. First time we accepted the mistake as no place is perfect. But to do the same thing again after we mentioned their error the first time is unacceptable. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

Order 2 lamb biriyani today. Considering the price quantity was pretty good. Taste could be a bit better. Overall good quality

We've tried other places occasionally, but we keep coming back to Surya because they are simply the best. This is a local restaurant run by a lovely couple. It has a cozy atnosphere and amazing food. The menu has all the popular Indian dishes you'd expect as well as some really interesting Indo-Chinese items. Highly recommend.
