We stayed on the campsite which was absolutely lovely with stunning views, the lady who fit us in last minute was so nice and accommodating! The restaurant on the other hand, open 6-8 so there’s a mad dash for everyone wanting food and drinks, the staff clearly cannot deal with the stress of the busy 2 hours they experience and speak to customers like utter s**t!! But the food is nice but overly expensive so take it how you like but I would never return or recommend due to the nasty service!

We were staying at Scourie Campsite and heard that the fish and chips were very good so we thought we’d give it a try. Sadly, it didn’t deliver. The restaurant was very busy so decided to get a takeout. Despite this we still had to wait 30 mins for our order. We ate our fish and chips in the van. The fish batter was very wet and greasy, lacking crisp. The fish tasted ok but rather tasteless, just like the chips. Thankfully, we had mayo in the van which made it more enjoyable. The worst part is that the supper cost roughly £14 each which is extortionate especially when the meal was so poor. Customer service was pretty good which I am giving this 2/5.

Arrived at 1810. Third in queue. Took 15/20 mins to get seen too. Ordered 2 burger and chips which took close to 45 mins to come out when we were told 20 mins. A family that ordered 20 mins after us got there food before us. Food was ok but not worth the price. The lady who works here was great but the young lad not so great. I waited 1 hour for 2 burgers with chips. Announced time was 20 minutes. Small portion.
