Khazana Indian Bistro - Scottsdale

The service was horrible. The food was very oily and not great. The internet was down when we went to go pay. Not a great place.

Enjoyed it a bit more the first time but will go again!

We could not even get food served to us to review. Which is really a problem for an establishment that serves food. After the initial difficulties of even finding the front door, we were led into a restaurant that tied for the worst ambience I 've ever been subjected to outside of an Arby 's in Barstow. It is possible that this restaurant has the worst lighting and atmosphere ever. The lighting is awful, and the atmosphere is cold, utilitarian, and glaring. God help the poor soul who brings his date to this place. We walked in at 6:50, with a reservation at 7:00, but nobody ever asked our name. At least five of the finished and empty tables had not been bussed. After being offered a two-top in the very middle of the restaurant, the host offered to bus a better table for us. After we sat down, it took ten minutes just to get water, so when somebody finally showed up with a pitcher, (and naturally, 'apologies ' , we took advantage of the opportunity to order right away. This was approximately at 7:00, maybe a couple minutes after. A couple sitting two tables over had already ordered and were waiting for their food. It had now been 25 minutes since anybody came by our table. The host finally came over to their table and told them the restaurant was 'slammed ' by large parties and take out orders. Despite this knowledge, no one bothered to tell US when they took our order that the kitchen was that busy and that the wait would be long for our food. We got up and left. If you want to eat here, do it with your eyes wide open. Needless to say, I won 't be returning.

Food was very delicious. We had the house special “butter chicken”. I will order this dish again because I enjoyed it so much. The owners are on site made certain the customers were satisfied. Also, the ambiance is warm inviting.

Food was delicious..so nice to have a tasty Indian restaurant in our neighborhood
