Westwood Tavern - Schaumburg

Not a good selection for vegetarian. Slow service. Pretty place.

This restaurant has a nice environment and was very clean. Plenty of televisions to watch multiple things at a time. Lots of tables so we didn’t have to wait, even on Friday night. The service was good. The short rib foot long grilled cheese was pretty tasty. The food was a bit pricey for what it was though.

Based off Christmas celebration party, nothing special. If before the party I could have considered visiting the place with some friends, now I definitely won't.

Heard about Westwood Tavern on the I'm Fat Podcast and had to go here. About half full on a Monday night. Huge bar in the center of the restaurant with hi tops and booths. I would rate it as a higher end sports bar. The menu is a variety of sushi (Yes sushi) burgers,salads and a variety of sandwiches. Nice place for watering-hole/sports. Maybe a bit too nice? High ceilings. Rock walls. Bar is front and center. Lighting is flattering. Pretty slick.
