Le 4 Vins - Saubusse

We needed a lunch spot while walking and this had good reviews. Not our experience. There was a reasonable menu but we were told only the fixed menu was available. At €15 it was over-priced and very basic fare.

There is a menu on the wall and I chose a gallette. But no: the only thing available was Formule for lunch. Charcuterie, chicken, Iles flottante. At 15euros we expected something moderately good. It was anything but! The charcuterie was processed slices , a lump of pork pate and a gherkin. The chicken and chips was swimming in grease which was running off the plate as it was delivered by the waitress. And the dessert was slimy and bitter. Oh and the coffee machine was broken, so no coffee. Don’t waste time or money here.
