Mister Akumal - SASSARI

The restaurant is quite hidden and in a very quite place. The atmosphere is friendly, the restaurant is clean and familiar. The food is nice almost home cooking style. I liked it but there are better places nearby.

I have been visiting this restaurant and pizza place since they opened and back every year.I have always been very satisfied with the quality of the food and the kindness and professionalism of the owner and waiters. They also have very original pizzas( highly raccomended the Messicana) and they serve very good traditional sardinian dishes( try Fregola con Arselle) .Service is efficient and personnell is very polite.The restaurant has a quiet terrace and it is located in a little hill although you don't enjoy any nice view from there.It is also family and dogs friendly.

Ate here twice lovely patio area and wonderful food recommend the pizzas and the salmon pasta. Huge portions!

There are many restaurants around Chia, so it was difficult to choose one. We liked the Mister Akumal to the point that we went there several times during the 10 days we spent in the area. The atmosphere is very friendly, there are not too many tables, the terrace is nice and airy, and of course the food is good. We tried a number of dishes. For antipasti, we had in particular tuna carpaccio (raw , crudo di mare (raw shrimps, mussels, oysters, etc. , very fresh and tasty. The pasta we had (spaghetti bottarga and tagliatelle vernaccia were excellent. Fish and calamari arrosto were very well cooked. We also ate several varieties of grilled beef, tender and cooked to our taste (medium rare . Pizzas also had both good crust and fillings. Prices are reasonable for the area.
