Restaurant Bistrot L'Adresse

A very, very nice and cozy restaurant with delicious and well prepared food. A high attention to making the customers feel well from both the kitchen and in the restaurant. A very personal experience.

Un peu cher mais çà valait la peine : le patron-cuisinier est aux fourneaux et nous avons mangé un magret de canard en rouleau : étonnant !

Idéalement situé dans le centre ville mais dans une rue à l'abri de la foule, ce petit restaurant (par la taille) est assurément à mille lieues des pratiques commerciales des restaurants saisonniers de Sarlat: c'est top en terme d'accueil, de la finesse des goûts et a un menu à 25€ (entrée, plat, dessert) digne d'un chef étoilé par la qualité des produits. Comptez 90 € vin et apéritif compris. Service aimable et convivial. Faîtes comme nous à la fin du repas: félicitez les cuisiniers (cuisine ouverte) car ils le méritent vraiment. Bravo et continuez ainsi, c'était parfait

This restaurant comes up #1 on TA and so we were excited to be able to take our friends here (two couples). We were given a table outside which was lovely, except for the many people smoking on the terrace whilst other diners are still eating. The food was disappointing. We all ordered the same entree (the fish ceviche) which sadly was pretty tasteless. Our friends ordered steak, and they got the mushroom sauce on the side in a seperate little jug. They thought the steak was ok. My partner and I ordered the duck, which also came with the mushroom sauce but was already poured over the meal. Unfortunately the sauce was too rich and the duck tough and stringy, and we had to leave most of the dish. Desserts looked uninspiring on the menu so we left and got an ice cream down the road. Service was friendly and prompt. However all in all I really don’t understand how this restaurant can be rated so highly. None of us said we would return.

Such a cute, yummy place for dinner. It’s quite small but that was nice because you can see in the kitchen and the chefs will actually come to your table to make sure all is going well. The food was delish and the service perfect.
