Food: 5/5 delicious fresh meat Atmosphere: 4/5 modern and good feel, but we felt a little too cramped while eating Service: 4/5 fast, but we asked for a beer not cabbage Overall good experience! We paid 3500¥ each and waited less than 30 min to be seated. I recommend going early!
Not a big fan of lamb! However this one taste ok, not too smelly I still can eat it. Recommended for lamb lover :
TLDR version; flavor 5/5, service 5/5, atmosphere 2.5/5. This is what Japanese call a Genghis Khan grill. It is a sort of half sphere pointing out with inverted lines reaching to the sides. You place the vegetables at the bottom and place the lamb to the top of the sphere. As the fats go down, they cook the vegetables. Unlike many shops, this shop does have some open gaps that let the coals give the unique scent to the grilled lamb. We ordered three of the specialty meats, and an extra meat with kimchi, rice, beer and total was around 3500 yens each. Definitely worth the price. The lamb was yummy and had amazing scent. Perhaps only thing that I would change is adding more vegetable options apart from leeks and onions. Also be prepared to be snug with the neighbors as this is counter type shop and you will be sitting shoulder to shoulder. Hence the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Oh also be prepared to wait about and hour to sit, lines can get long
Had to wait for almost an hour and half even after the dinner time (after 10 pm~ . The lamb was okay. The portions were small but not cheap. Wish they also provided bean sprouts along with the onions. Personally don’t think it’s worth the wait. There are other ginghis khan places in the area that shouldn’t be much different but require much less wait time.
