The food here is incredible, I recommend the soups and the Carnitas, but stay for the Mariachis! I think prices are fine in view of the quality of food.

Authentic Mexican cuisine served in a 300-year-old Hacienda. Very popular reservations are a must during peak hours. OK for vegetarians, but much is cooked with a pig's malt. It seems to attract a younger clientele.

We love to take out of town friends to this wonderful old hacienda across the freeway from Antea Mall, largest newest in the hemisphere! The contrast is astounding. The menu is extensive with a great selection of Mexican food and International cuisine. The carnitas appetizer is not to be missed a large plateful to share. The dining is all in the cental courtyard with umbrellas and awnings. The service is old Mexico with formally dressed waiters, the tequila cart is presented upon being seated, several menu items are prepared at the table. People watching is interesting as there are many international diners businessmen from the nearby manufacturing plants. We highly recommend this place!

I absolutely loved this place, I think it was a jewel for Queretaro. I am Mexican and lived in Qro for 30 years. This place is one of my favorites by far, but yesterday I was really disappointed!!! I believe it has to be a new “management” (Miss management, as I found that prices have risen significantly and the size of the portions and the quality and total value ratio decrease. I had only Quesadillas and a Cecina and spent 900 pesos... I will probably not come back because I have never seen a restaurant bring value again, and since it was full, it needs a big manager with vision to understand the impact of impairment down while there is so much competition to Queretaro. I would go back and recommend it again, depending on how they manage this complaint and feedback. Probably the only thing that remained was the reasonable price of a tequila (foreign but good Please take action and preserve this jewel and not “kill the golden egg hen” (no Maten a la gallina de los huevos de oro!
