Everest Indian - Santa Rosa

Ordered the vegan tikka masala, and had my bf double check that it was vegan when he picked it up. the cashier confirmed that it was and it had vegan written on the container, but found that it was chicken when it got back instead of vegetables. if you’re vegan or vegetarian ordering take out, you should physically open the container before leaving to make sure there’s not meat. sad waste of food and money

We just had Thali platters to go the other day and the food was delicious. I had the Baingan Bharta which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The salad, naan and dal was fantastic as well.We used to come here frequently in the past and will definitely be putting Everest into regular rotation as the food was great and we moved into the area, so it's very close.

The best North Indian food around this place. Especially for Indian vegetarians this place is a safe heaven!

I use to love this place, when I lived by Calistoga Rd. Was so excited to order my usual Butter chicken (mild medium spice), basmati rice vegetable pakora. It was nothing like the usual amazing taste. I went online to see if the place was under new management, but sadly it had not. The butter chicken was extremely bland, the rice is different, I can tell they are using different meat for the dish. So sad to see another good place in Santa Rosa loose it 's touch . ?
