Cool Hand Luke's Santa Maria

One of my favourite restaurants to visit whenever we're in Santa Maria. Great food and atmosphere. The baked beans (complimentary appetizer) are terrific!

The food was good. I asked for a well-done porterhouse stake, and it was well done but to to well done kinda dry. But still good. Next time will order medium well.

Delicious steak tri tip dinners. Ste in the bar Donald was exceptional even though it was full of football Sunday fans! Meat was cooked perfectly. First serving of tri tip was a bit chewy and quickly replaced with no problem. Always happy with CHLs.

I like this place decently enough. It's your average steakhouse but for the area it's pretty nice. I have never had bad food here. I would say on occasion the service is a bit lacking but it's usually only when stuff gets busy. The drinks are just okay.

Had the Cobb Steak Salad. Great size enough to split or as I did take 1/2 home. Service was good, but the person who took our order left and someone else took care of us. They did a great job, but I did not know till the end when I was looking to pay the bill that we had a different server.
