Great Western Cafe - Sandwell

I arrived at around 12:40pm on a ‘normal’ Wednesday afternoon. The cafe did have some empty spaces/tables to sit down at. Upon arriving at the till, to place my order, I was greeted kindly and respectfully by a female worker. I ordered the £7.10 ‘Greedy Pig’ menu item, which I remember contained the following: ‘3 sausages, 3 strips of bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, chopped tomato, and normal/fried toast. I didn’t ask for a drink on this occasion, due to my schedule that day, being fairly busy, and needing to leave in a reasonable short amount of time, due to other important commitments. The food only took around 5 10 minutes max, to be delivered to myself. I really enjoyed the food, and it was excellently cooked and prepared, with no faults at all, except that I personally would of made the fried eggs, solid all the way through etc, eg non runny, although this isn’t their fault, as it’s only my person view etc. the staff are very friendly, and seemed genuinely concerned for their customers safety, enjoyment and their needs, whatever they may be, eg dietary or experience wise etc. A very good visit, and I would certainly eat/drink here again, and would definitely recommend to other people, for sure. This is a excellent cafe with a good range of food from the usually breakfast items to sandwiches to a full roast dinner. The food is excellent and you never wait long for your food even when busy (which appears to be most of the time) The waitresses are friendly and helpful, the kitchen staff do a great job and the young lady taking the orders is brilliant. The place is always clean and well prepared too. Friendly staff with excellent, reasonably priced food.

A very enjoyable meal and experience, from a regular customer! Also proud of the GWR, due to my family's roots! I love going to this cafe in West Bromwich! One of the reasons, that I love going so much, is because my dad's father, was a GWR train driver, when he was alive. I also really love the pictures, decals and decoration on the cafe walls. Their traditional cooked breakfast, is very tasty and good, and the cafe prices are very acceptable too. We can feed our family lunch, of three adults, for around £15 to £20, including drinks each! The staff are very cheerful and they all have a very welcoming and warm personality too. I will always be a loyal customer to this magnificent cafe, in West Bromwich!

This restaurant used to be a regular spot for me to enjoy breakfast - it was always busy but still had a comfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, changes in my schedule have made it difficult for me to visit regularly. However, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area as the food is very good.
