Ofa's Island Bbq - San Ramon

Had their beef short ribs rice bowl and pork belly for the first time at the San Ramon Farmer's Market. Definitely will be coming back. Best BBQ I've ever had- hands down. The pork belly was so juicy and both the pork belly and beef short ribs were extremely flavorful. I was told the marinade is soy based but it's very unique. Family was friendly. Rice was nice and fluffy and paired well with the cucumber tomato salad (cucumbers were refreshing and crisp).Looking forward to trying more items on the menu next time. One thing to note is the food is cooked fresh so it's best to order and then walk around or do your other shopping at the market and then come back. I had to wait about 20 minutes since they had a long line but it was worth the wait.

The short ribs are very tasty and have a good BBQ flavor. I'm from the south so I like food that is a little more seasoned so Ofa's was right up my alley.

Famous for his grilled chicken and now the pork belly. The kalua pork has the smoke flavor and my kids favorite. I recommended to and coworker and now they go all the time.

Being told 20 minutes and waiting an hour couldn't make even the best tasting food worth it. While this food is flavorful, it doesn't live up to the hype nor the wait.

Never disappoints it's portions are perfect I must say its authentic real island bbq seems family owned and they are awesome
