La Finestra - San Miguel de Allende

I felt like I was in paris this restaurant so amazingly picturesque and charming. it is not easy to find because it is hidden at the end of the corridor. man and I always wondered why it wasn't just packed and. we think it's because it's so hidden. the pasta that we had was incredibly good and the service top notch..someone described in a review expensive that surprised me as we spent 100 pesos more for the same dish on the plaza and it was not homemade pasta in this restaurant! we were told that all pastas are homemade and gluten-free do not miss this for a romantic night in the city. it is a real departure from the chaotic new restaurants that I wish I could back 25 years when they first opened this restaurant to see how sm was then!

We are coffee snobs and consider paying for a coffee to be worthy of the time and cost. Not so here. Sorry guys, nice place though.

Always been intrigued by this darling little restaurant tucked in a courtyard off the street. Actually have stopped by three different times on past trips. Must have always come early (they open for lunch at 1:00 or come by on a Tuesday, the one day...a week they are closed). To my delight, they were open this time. Ordered the salmon ravioles in a light tomato cream sauce that were out of this world. Too, splurged and had their apple strudel with ice cream with a latte. Everything made from scratch. Complimented the owner and chef Tito who told me him and his wife also offer cooking classes. Planning on returning again today with my friend.

Having some local artwork (not rare in the region) this petit corner is full of light and peace. Food is good, local ingredients and good service make this a nice place to visit and stay for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
