Roughhouse Brewing - San Marcos

Great place for a local brew. Good choice of food... We had the fancy nachos and partner had a BBQ sandwich which he gave a 10. Loved this place.

Food, had the chips and queso and it's amazingly homecrafted and awesome. Beer have their bottled to your cave ale and it's amazing.Location, outdoors is wonderfully set up to just sit outside and chill out with dogs.

Definitely one of my favorite breweries. I like the location and their set up. I go here to relax and think in the conducive atmosphere. Also they're one of the breweries that make great pilsner/lager. not just all hopped up IPAs and PAs. Roughhouse's pilsner is accurate with actual German brands from Germany.

I decided to order the nachos and they did not disappoint. I also enjoyed their delicious selection of beers. The atmosphere is wonderful with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your meal or listen to the live performances. There is even a designated area for kids to play. The restaurant is dog-friendly like most places.

Roughhouse Brewing is a fantastic hidden gem that my husband took me to while we were on vacation. The owners are very friendly and eager to share the brewery's great story with you. The venue, beers, and appetizers are all excellent. They have received some well-deserved accolades. There are also games to play in the outdoor area and a space for live music. We can't wait to visit again when we're in San Marcos.
