Loard's Ice Cream - San Leandro

Really good creamy ice cream. some seasonal flavors. Pineapple coconut being one I like. Good Rocky Road.

Best ice cream in the Bay Area. Best ice cream I've had anywhere. I especially recommend the black cherry and vanilla!

Ice cream was not good taste worse than a generic brand. I ordered a banana milkshake (which taste like cake batter) and a carmel sunday (which was put in a tall cup).. I complained about this in the store because i was distracted by the false advertisement photo that they display as the serving in a bowl when in actuality it was in a cup ????… $14 dollars later… dont go there its not worth it

Needed a cooler during the September Heat wave. We beat the rush and didn't have to wait in a long line. Tons of flavors to choose from. My sundae wasn't too bad (Mint Delight) Friendly customer service. Street parking was easy. They bake cakes and can have them ready in 24 hours.

This place still sucks overall like it did when I reviewed it the first time 11 years ago. Only now that I've been to the Loard's on Wayne, the disappointment is even more glaring. This location isn't even listed on Loard's website (the Wayne location is), which makes me wonder if this location isn't even associated with the brand anymore (and just continues to use the same name and logo), or if Loard's is so embarrassed by the condition of this location that they'd rather not encourage anyone to go to it. Same sad interior and exterior that has nothing in common with the other locations, same solid, tasty ice cream that's better taken on the go than consumed in this depressing spot.
