Cedar Creek Inn San Juan Capistrano

First, it was wonderful to eat! we had cocktails and appetizers (artichoke hearts popcorn shrimp in the bar before our dinner reservations and everything was great! the hostess was also wonderful. it went slightly downhill from there. she went to us and the table for 5 was set only to 4 so we all waited in the center of the dining room felt silly while they tried to find us a table to our group. no big thing, but still strange, as they said that the table is ready. the waiter must have had a free day. we have created our anrees (blue crab halibut. delikatessen! before our salates (which were never come, we were charged false amounts to 2 escapes and he was mia the most time. When we pointed out the mistakes, he looked at us as if we had caused the problems. everyone has these days, but it would have been nice if he just apologized. I'll go back, but I'll check the bill for mistakes three times and hope I won't get the same waiter.

INside, it is cozy and inviting. The outdoor patio is beautiful and my favorite place to dine there during nice weather.

Kind of off the mark on a holiday night. Usually love this place but tonight the meat was overdone, the folding chairs were very uncomfortable, and the waiter was really pushy about ordering appetizers. Still I'll come back because on a less busy night, the food is reliably good and service professional and efficient.

The food and service at CCI is always excellent. This time of year the holiday decorations there are beautiful as well. Our party of 5 each had a different dish and everyone was pleased.

We had a wonderful time at Cedar Creek Inn the other night. We met friends there from Los Angeles and it is a perfect half-way point! Our server was Claudia (we have had the pleasure of her service before) and as usual, she was superb ! She is incredibly efficient, knowledgable and funny! We had a great time.
