I also tried their hot cocoa for the first time, and it was the only place in Manila that serves authentic Spanish hot chocolate, not a Milo-tasting version. My favorite cakes were the Tod after table and deep dark classic. They use premium chocolate that stands out to my sophisticated palate. I hope they maintain their quality as they grow. The atmosphere is not romantic, but the focus is on the chocolate. There are only a few tables and chairs available, so be sure to go early.
I have the 6 inch cake-dru food, and it's yum. the cake is moist and not too sweet, just right. I can't wait to eat it again with tea/coffee.
Limited to sugar free (sf) sweets, a nitpicks quality. chocolat delivered with its sf chocolate mousse cake. unboxing was pleasant-pristine peaks over airy mousse, floating on a dark bed sinful moist cake. take out a firmly cooled disc that has released a subtle sweet. fabulous raised layers of chocolate quality.
Love their chalked cakes! favorite is her kahlua and hazelnut variants. her red velvet is also delicious and her carrot cake is one of the best I had! They also offer chocolate taste carrot cake and it is also good (personal preference, however, is the simple carrot cake). this is one of my places when buying cake!
Very good cake, always meets the place. best, they are not everywhere near the 1000php brand. it is really hard to fathom, how cakes in these days can now cost up of 1k. that is delicious value for money. also imho the best chocolate cake in the subway. super rich and decadent!
